Caption: The Amazing Amoeba-Man
Lyrics: (Sung to the tune of "Spider-Man")
Amoeba-Man, Amoeba-Man
Does whatever an a Amoeba can
Membrane of blue, eyes of black
Moves around with pseudopodal sacks
Look out, here comes Amoeba-Man
Is he big, listen bud
He's got cholesterol-laden blood
Has a nucleus, the size your brain
When he eats too much, he feels the pain
See there, there slides Amoeba-Man
Whether it be dark out
Or it be light
You can find him sleeping
Till he decides to strike!
Amoeba-Man, Amoeba-Man
Protoplasmic Amoeba-Man
Mitosis, he ignores
Dinner is his reward
Look out, here slides Amoeba-Man!
Look out!
Whether it be dark out
Or it be light
You can find him sleeping
Till he decides to strike!
Amoeba-Man, Amoeba-Man
Protoplasmic Amoeba-Man
Mitosis, he ignores
Dinner is his reward
Look out, here slides Amoeba-Man!
Toooo him
Life happens as it comes, yes
Wherever there's Lasagna,
There will be Amoeba-Man!
Amoeba-Man: Face it, fella. You're one good-looking hunk of protoplasm.
The author writes:
After doing a number of comics for Batman, I decided to jump to the other side of the big two. Thus, I went and created a parody theme song for one of the weekly arcs that was a favourite of my brothers and I when we would read through old comics as kids, Amoeba Man.
