The author writes:

I realized that the 1986-08-17 strip used the "Donk!" sound and decided to replace it with Team Fortress 2's icon for when a player gets Double Donked with the Loose Cannon. While I was in the middle of submitting this strip, I got the idea to replace the Garfield logo with a TF2-ified version of it. Said version of the logo is also included with a transparent background:
