If you're using a wide colour gamut/high dynamic range monitor, you can now see strips with an enormously enhanced range of colours. Moving forward, new strips will be produced to the new standards, to take advantage of the new technologies that are being adopted right now.

Older strips have been automatically processed to enhance the colour gamuts. In some cases this reveals hidden information that wasn't visible before. Although in most cases it just makes Preston's wallpaper look bizarrely lurid.
