Pieced together from ancient legends by: David Morgan-Mar

The author writes:

So the other day I was travelling across town to visit a friend, and thought I'd catch the bus there, and let him drive me home afterwards. I figured I'd buy a bus ticket at a local newsagent in advance, to save time when I got on the bus. My friend advised me not to bother, and to just pay the driver. But on consideration I ignored his advice and bought the ticket, then went to wait at the nearest bus stop. When I got on it turned out the bus the ticket validation machine was broken, so the driver said today it was a free ride.

Hey, and it rained on my wedding day...

Alanis Morissette, what do you have against me??
