My car has been making strange noises for a few months now, and today I went to the garage for the fourth time to try to get it fixed. And of course the noises weren't there any more when I tried to show them to the mechanics.

This happens every single time. It's just like when my washing machine started whispering in Latin, and when the service guy came by of course he couldn't hear anything.
