What is a paragraph?

A paragraph is a long-form answer to a question. It can be anywhere from fifty to one hundred words in length and can be used to answer a test question in the most thorough form. It can be used to describe events in a chronological order, and it can describe in detail what a simple one-sentence answer can not. It has a topic sentence, used to introduce the reader to what is ahead. It has a clincher sentence restating the first sentence. A paragraph is a long-form answer to a question.
