To forestall complaining about yesterday's cliffhanger, I will indicate some things that it was not, that some people have already complained about:

The final, one true death of Blackdrip (it's not even a lesser death, folks)
A collapsing hrung
The spawning of a new lower-energy vacuum state, thus reducing the cost of cleaning services worldwide
The start of a crossover with Battletoads, Frogger, Frog and Toad are Friends, and Homestuck.
My painting myself into a corner so narrow that I can't work my way out even with my ability to traverse regions of fractal dimension.

This list of things that did not happen is not exhaustive. Check your assumptions, and have fun speculating, and feel free to complain about it being a cliffhanger, but don't complain about what actually happened until you know what actually happened.

You'll know soon enough anyway - I've got it in the queue already, due for publication on March 13th, 2018.
