Liz: I had a wonderful time tonight, Jon.
Jon: So did I. And it's my birthday too.

The author writes:

While searching for birthdays, I noticed that it was only recently that Jon's birthday was subtly referenced on July 28th. I compiled the ones that mentioned this, into a singular story. The only ones that didn't fall in this formula were the 2002 strip, which fell on a Sunday, and the 2007 strip which was just another gag strip. When you're second fiddle to a franchise, guess which one takes priority?
