The author writes:

A strip I did two years ago but never got to release publically until I found the right words to talk about it.

It is based after the game VVVVVV by Terry Caravangh. A close friend got me to play the game and across all the struggles, I managed to at least beat the main story.

Wanted to stick as much true to the game's simple yet-charming artstyle as possible by making Garfield entirely teal aside from his face, in order to match with the protagonist, Captain Viridian. As well as recreating the game's graphics from scratch, such as the floor, and the spikes you're more than guaranteed to fall over.
