The author writes:

There is no source strip or date to this, because it's fully computer generated. I got access to some free uses of the DALL-E image processing AI. One of the prompts I gave it was "Garfield comic panel", hoping to make a few and put them together; instead of a panel, it gave full strips (restricted to the AI's square image format, of course). This was the closest to being comprehensible, and I liked the name "GAIDFFLLAID?".
