The author writes:

Inspired by #4631 and #3118. Now Garfield is either confused about whether Odie's reaction is an insult, or (as was my intent) he's too stupid to know when he's insulting someone.

I tried to thicken the outlines of the 2020 Garfield to better fit the old art style, but that didn't turn out so great.
