When I saw this strip, my immediate thought was, "Is Garfield just laying there motionless for minutes or hours, then just saying 'Cat push-ups' at a random time, then keeping on lying there?" I can't tell if this is too many beat panels, or if it's still not enough to make the joke clear. Which means it's probably the perfect amount.
