The author writes:

For my Geometry class, we had to take a comic panel and scale it up several times by redrawing it on graph paper. I wanted to do something related to Square Root of Minus Garfield, and lucky me, the SRoMG entry on the day of the assignment was #2478, "Dark Side of Lasagne In One Panel." Nobody noticed the actual content of the comic, though.
