{Jon's phone plays Siegfried's Rhine Journey}
{Garfield smashes the phone}
Jon: Hey!
Jon: I liked that ringtone!
Garfield: I will not suffer Wagner's music to be insulted in this way.

The author writes:

Siegfried's Rhine Journey is an orchestral interlude which occurs between the Prologue and Act I of Götterdämmerung, the fourth opera in Wagner's Ring Cycle.

In contrast to #1084 and #1085, here we see Garfield objecting to the use of certain music as a ringtone not because that music is the most annoying sound known to man or cat or is irritatingly cliché (as Ride of the Valkyries would be), but because he likes it and finds either the use of it as a ringtone, or the manner in which Jon's phone renders it as a ringtone, or both, to be an insult to the music.
