T-Rex: Apparently there's already a supervillain named Doctor Doom.
T-Rex: Who knew?!
T-Rex: His real name is Doctor Victor Von Doom.[1] So presumably he's from some European town named Doom.[2]
Utahraptor: Hey, T-Rex!
Utahraptor: According to Wikipedia, there is no town with the name of "Doom".
T-Rex: Wait. He doesn't really exist??
T-Rex: Everyone lied to me!

The author writes:

Seriously, if your surname is Von Doom, do you really have any other option but to become a supervillain?

[1] Yes, really.

[2] The meaning of von when adopted by a non-noble. The other usage only comes about if you are a member of the German nobility. And given Doctor Doom's mother was Cynthia Von Doom, a Romani witch from Latveria, it's highly unlikely she was of German noble birth.
