Meridien: {polishing a lamp} It's nice to see how many ancient artifacts Dr. Ambrose has, but would it kill him to clean them sometime?
Oliver: {a djinn, manifesting} Hi there! I'm the Djinn of the Lamp. Thanks for letting me out!
Oliver: As a sign of my gratitude, I'll grant you three wishes.
Oliver: Now, tell me, what do you wish for?
Meridien: Well...
Meridien: I've had so many shapes over the past years, I want to know which one is my true form!
Oliver: All of them were true.
Oliver: Every one of them was you, as your creator intended it to be.
Meridien: So... there is no real me? That... that's not fair! I want a real me!
Oliver: I can give you one, if you wish...
Meridien: Fine! Work your magic. I don't care what you make of me, as long as it sticks out!
Oliver: Your wish is my command!
Meridien: {now a stick figure} You know, I don't think I'll use my third wish to free you from the lamp...
Oliver: You know, I don't think I like you.

The author writes:

I love Oliver's line in panel 6. I'd say that any time I got the chance, if I were a Djinn.

Also: Meridien finally gets a main character role again!
