The author writes:

I sketched this image out on a long train journey while LMoO was running through the character creation stage. The aim was to make Holly look cheerful but slightly clueless, and to make Ambrose look unhinged. After drawing the characters I added the owl and captioned it. I think it worked pretty well in the end.
