TPTPWDotACoEMW writes:

After making #5302 it occurred to me that I kind of wanted to do something like that again. So I gathered up three of the friends I originally did "Garfward Jonbles" with and with their help I created this.

The basic chain of actions was as follows: I gave each of the participants a random Garfield comic, with all of the dialogue - but not the bubbles themselves - removed, and tasked them with giving me things to fill the bubbles in with. Then, each person's text was given to one of the other people, but without the associated comic. They were each then tasked with describing what they thought the comic for that text should look like, and I made new comics based on their descriptions. Finally, each of these new comics had its dialogue removed and was passed to the final person, who wouldn't have seen the comic in any form yet, for the final dialogue to be filled in.

Looking at the completed product, it's interesting to see how each of the comics changed over the course of the project, and to see how well the new dialogue would have worked in the original comic for each of them.

Did we end up being funnier than modern Garfield? You decide.

Alastair writes:

Poetentially the greatest Garfield experiment ever? Tune in to the sensation that Al the Maniacs are raving about! And now for the Keysmash: TPTPWDotACoEMW

Anyway I don't really have anything to say.

Poe Salazar writes:

Super happy to be part of the process!

(ManiacMastR didn't have anything to write.)
