Strip by: Ian Boreham
{A radio announcer on classical FM radio is speaking about the piece just played.}
Announcer: Well, that was Ravel’s La Valse. As the piece progresses, and Viennese society descends into post-war chaos, the threads of melody fray - rather unusually for a composer known for his finicky, neat behaviour. All in all, it’s very un-Ravel.
The author writes:
I don't actually know much about Ravel or his music. This is an entirely pun-driven strip. Please don't hate me.
