{The outside of a restaurant with the sign "Two Veg: Gourmet British Vegan Food". There are menu pictures in the window. The first is mashed potato, carrots and gravy. The second is potato chips, peas and gravy. The third (breakfast) is baked potato and baked beans.}
The author writes:
Don't worry about the gravy in the pictures. It's made from gravy powder, which rarely has any actual meat in it.
Originally I was going to make this "Three Veg", since in Australia we talk about "meat and three veg" as the traditional "cuisine" we inherited from Britain before we discovered pasta and Asian food. But apparently in Britain they tend to refer to "meat and two veg". Even more impoverished than we thought! Lucky most Brits eat curry instead.
