The author writes:

This is part of a series of ink drawings done in "15 minutes or less". I kept forgetting Sam's earrings, so I made some hasty loops to stand in for them. As for why Sam spends her time staring at Meridien, I don't know. Perhaps it was because I was running out of ideas for one panel comics.
