Oliver: Oh! Move along, then.
Principal Ambrose: Oliver!
Oliver: What? I was just being considerate.

The author writes:

To be completely honest, I've never seen a hall monitor during my years in high school. (At least, not a student hall monitor. The high school staff generally acted out that role.) But I decided that, since it would be a good fit for Oliver, and since you always hear about them, they were an acceptable subject for a High School Musicowl strip.
