Autocomplete Nancy Drew

Nancy: {reading} "Dear blog readers: today I ate some grass and drank some more and then I put on my wizard hat shoes and my little pony backpack. On my way to school I saw somebody driving a car and thought they looked cool."

The author writes:

I saw all those blanks and just knew I had to run the comic's dialogue through Google's Autocomplete tool.

I typed in every word that was present in the original strip, which made for some odd results:

  1. Typing "today I ate some" suggested "oatmeal for breakfast," but typing out the full "dear blog readers today I ate some" suggested "grass."
  2. Typing "I saw somebody driving a" suggested the much more interesting "taxi cab" (apparently it's a song), but typing the full "backpack on my way to school I saw somebody driving a" just came up with "car," which was kind of a bummer.
  3. Typing "and my" suggested "axe," naturally, but typing "shoes and my" suggested "shoes my little pony," actually removing the "and" that I typed.
