{Comic is a single panel, consisting of a cartoon self-portrait illustration of Katie Tiedrich, creator of Awkward Zombie, holding a Macintosh laptop and leaping into the frame. Katie is wearing a black t-shirt with the numbers "666" crudely emblazoned on it. Flames are everywhere, and it appears as if Katie is trying to leap through or away from them.}
Text in top-left corner: WHOA NELLY
Text below Katie: AND THEN KATIE WENT TO HELL

The author writes:

I have no clue why I made this. I don't have anything against Katie Tiedrich - in fact, I've been a huge fan for over a decade - and I certainly don't want her to actually go to hell.

All I know is that looking at this image has me break out in uncontrollable giggling, which is sometimes all you need.

Original Awkward Zombie: 2009-08-23, "Hiatus".

Flames clipart from here and here.

EDIT: After some reflection, I remembered what inspired me to do this in the first place. It's been sitting on my hard drive, partially-complete, for quite a while, so I had forgotten. What happened was, when I was re-reading Awkward Zombie for the umpteenth time, for some reason my brain decided to replay the voice of Jack Douglass (Jacksfilms) from this specific point in this video (and perhaps also this one), which cracked me up and somehow lead to this being created. The creative process (if it can be called that) is a weird one sometimes.
