The author writes:

Seriously, originally the bird was green. Unfortunately, when I made the bird blue, it just blended in with the environment, so I had to make the environment a different color. So now the furniture is green instead of the bird, which is now its proper color. That is, blue.

The moral of the story is, never accuse me of being timely with my topicality.
