Title: Video Games Explained with T. Rex
T. Rex: Today: ludonarrative dissonance!
T. Rex: That's when there's a dissonance between the narrative and the ludo!
Dromiceiomimus: ...It's when the story of a game told by its plot conflicts with the player's experience of the gameplay.
T. Rex: That's what I just said!
Utahraptor: For example, say you're playing T-Rex's Cool Sexy Stompathon. 64.
Utahraptor: The narrative makes out that T-Rex is some stomping ace.
T. Rex: Correctly!
Utahraptor: But the stomping minigame is so clunky that the player avoids it as much as possible!
Utahraptor: {off screen} That's ludonarrative dissonance!
T. Rex: That's gosh-darn LIBEL is what it is

The author writes:
