T-Rex: WAITER!!
T-Rex: Where the heck is the waiter? The steak is overdone, and worse, my water glass is half empty! The staff here suck and they're so unfriendly and grouchy!
Utahraptor: Did you want something?
T-Rex: My water glass is half empty and you're rude! I'm only leaving a 12% tip!
Utahraptor: Yeah, whatever. Bye.
T-Rex: What about my water! I wanna see the manager!
T-Rex: Of this country!

The author writes:

Inspired by a conversation I had with an ex-pat American who has been living in Australia for the past year. I asked her what the biggest culture shock was, and she said how different the customer service was here. She said it took her a long time to realise that everybody serving her in restaurants, cafes, and shops weren't being especially inattentive and rude and treating her with disrespect - it's just the difference in culture.
