This turn in the storyline took a lot of planning, complete with multiple spreadsheets to keep track of character interactions and motivations, as well as the movements of the various Maguffins through all of the universes. Making comics is a science - not an art.

EDIT: Several experienced comics creators wrote to take serious issue with the statement above. Apparently it's spelt "MacGuffin".
