Cody made this already, but he "decided to make as close a recreation of it as possible as according to the transcript. [He] couldn't complete the original author's signature nor the copyright text as [he had] no way possible of knowing what he intended, so [he] left that as is". I don't know why he didn't think about searching for the original signature and copyright text in stupidlyclever's other strip, because that's exactly what I've done here, making this the really real #1971.
