Jon: Watch where you step
{Garfield, disgusted, attempts to leave the car}
Garfield: Let me out
{Jon stares at him before realizing too late what his cat intends to do}
Jon: GARFIELD! WE ARE GOING OVER 50!
{Jon stops the car so that Garfield, severely injured from the tumbling, can get back in}
Garfield: So I noticed

2:
{Garfield peeks from under his blanket}
Garfield: I hate Monday... Something bad always happens to me on Monday. It's just a matter of time now...
{He becomes anxious}
Garfield: The suspense is killing me
{He flings his blanket off}
Garfield: DO IT TO ME NOW, MONDAY! GET IT OVER WITH!
SFX: THOCK
{Cue a flowerpot hitting him square in the face}
Garfield: Thank you for your prompt consideration

{Garfield walks and stops in front of Odie}
Garfield: You are a dolt. You are ugly. And you are generally unacceptable
{Odie just slobbers with a happy expression. Garfield, who was gonna walk away, does an aside glance and returns to confront him}
Garfield: Give it a rest
{Odie droops down miserably as Garfield walks away}

4:
Garfield {very disheveled}: It takes longer...
Garfield {slightly disheveled}: ...every morning...
Garfield {normal}: ...to resemble myse-
{Garfield suddenly does a wide, pained grimace. Scene pans out to reveal he just stepped out of bed}
Jon: That floor is pretty cold this morning, isn't it?
