Jon {to Odie}: Oh, no! This is terrible! You didn't kill and eat Garfield, did you Odie?

Jon: Yup

The author writes:

If anyone is interested in taking some real-world lessons from this tragic incident, they may wish to scrutinize Jon's decision to leave his pets alone, without a pet-sitter, when Odie has been abused by Garfield for years and could finally take the opportunity to exact his vengeance.

I've had this strip in mind for a long time, but just couldn't find the right strip to pull (hehe) Garfield's tail from. Once I finally did, the rest was simple. The biggest problem was figuring out what to name the strip, normally not a problem I have. Some rejected strip names:

By my count, this is the 30th strip I've submitted to SRoMG (not all have been accepted and/or published, and at the time of this writing there are several that have been accepted and have yet to be published). I hope everyone is enjoying reading them as much as I enjoy making them! :D

*Be thankful I didn't go with my original plan and stain Odie's teeth red with blood and have some dripping from his mouth as he bared his fangs. ^_^
