CISRA Puzzle Competition 2013 - Hints
5D. Three Colours
- Those colourful movie title words could run together into the grid... but not in straight lines. Start with (red) "cliff" and (red) "beach".
- All the words in the list start and end with letters in the grid. Letters that are already coloured in, stay that colour. All other grid squares could be any colour, especially when they run together. You don't need dirty paint water to tell you that.
- Some letters overlap. When they do, they form a colour that you'd get by mixing those paints. These newly coloured letters form blocks of colour that make new movie title colour words. For example, Red + Yellow = Orange. Orange + Blue = Brown. There's an area in the top left that needs to be left until last.
