We have changed the update times for the last hint release on 7 Oct and the end of competition on 8 Oct to from 12:00 noon to 13:00 Australian Eastern Summer Time. This gives the usual 24 hours between changes, rather than the 23 hours that would occur if we stayed with the same local time across our Daylight Saving time shift. All updates are now at 02:00 GMT, rather than the previously advertised (and incorrect) 03:00 GMT for 7 and 8 Oct.

Puzzle week is underway! The Group 2 puzzles have been released. The first hints for Groups 1 and 2 will be released tomorrow, along with the Group 3 puzzles.

24 September 2012
The Group 1 puzzles have been released. Puzzle Week will begin on Monday, 1 October.

18 September 2012
The Group 1 puzzles will be released at 12:00 AEST (02:00 GMT) on Monday, 24 September, one week before Puzzle Week.

4 September 2012
The 2012 Puzzle Competition is now open for team registration! You may register your team using the team registration page. We're still working on planning for the Group 1 puzzles and will let you know as soon as they're released for solving.

23 August 2012
The 2012 Puzzle Competition will be held with Puzzle Week beginning Monday 1 October. We will be archiving the 2011 competition and refreshing the site for 2012 very soon. We hope to see you busy solving puzzles then!
