CISRA Puzzle Competition 2011 - Solutions1D. Creature FeatureEach question is a riddle whose answer is a pun on the name of an animal. The answers to the questions (in question order) are:
The word lengths of each answer matches one of the list of parenthesised numbers on the right hand side of the diagram, but not in the same order as the questions. If a straight line is drawn between each question and the word lengths of its answer, each line crosses one or more red dots.
Following the red dotted line, and indexing the joke answer by the number beside each red dot in order, a hidden message is spelt out: "Which Star Wars actor has a hump?" Following the creature pun pattern established by all of the initial riddle answers, the answer to this additional joke question and the solution to this puzzle is MARK CAMEL, a pun on Mark Hamill, who famously played Luke Skywalker in Star Wars. Another amusing possiblity would have been "Camel L. Jackson", but alas we didn't think of that before releasing the puzzle.
