B.1 Artefact

• This puzzle looks suspiciously like the net of a cube. A physical cube might help.
• The key to turning the faces of the cube is in the initial layout ("F" refers to the central face in the net, and "U" refers to the face at the top).
• The instructions to turn the cube can be read left to right and top to bottom from the initial layout.
