Quoted from an email originally sent to: Treehugger

The author writes:

I exaggerated for effect, but the bluish blood splashing from the spider's body is biologically plausible, the colouring agent in their blood is the transparent-to-turquoise haemocyanin. I'm not too great at making up stuff from full cloth, but I guess I'm alright at research.

P.S. A letter addressed to the Linux Merchandise department recently ended up at my place by accident. I only noticed after opening the letter and the envelope is gone, so I'm posting the contents in hopes someone whom it concerns will notice:

Dear Sirs,

I acquired a few of your penguins to protect me from aliens. But the blasted things keep exploding. Should I remove the resident penguin from the TV set when watching my Monty Python DVDs? Can this even be done without causing an anti-alien-security breach?

Yours sincerely etc.
