Yeah... you wouldn't see that episode title on a kid's cartoon these days.
I'd like to say it's actually a good episode... but I can't. Tchar's plan is just ridiculously bad. And I didn't even get to show how after saving the Galaxy again, Kirk and Spock get returned to the Enterprise just seconds after leaving, and the Vedala (who I also didn't get to show - the Vedala are a race of semi-omnipotent fox-aliens) erase their memories of the entire episode.
Transcript
1
Prince of Skorr's log, Stardate 5683.1. The Vedala have recruited a fourth expedition to recover the Soul of Skorr.
Tchar: It holds the brain pattern of Alar, who brought peace to my race, the Skorr. Without it, we will wage holy war on the entire Galaxy!
2
Tchar voice over: I assembled a fellowship:
Tchar: Kirk, a great leader, Spock, a great intellect, Sord, a uh... lizard dude, Lara, a Ranger of the North, and Em/3/Green, a thief.
3
Tchar voice over: We crossed a volcanic wasteland:
Lara: Kirk, I like you. Wanna "make some memories"?
Kirk: Uh, no thanks.
Caption: Wait... WHAT??
4
Tchar voice over: I saved Em/3/Green from certain death:
Kirk: Three previous expeditions failed. I suspect sabotage.
Spock: 82% chance that one of the group is a traitor.
5
Tchar voice over: Then revealed my master plan!
Tchar: I stole the Soul of Skorr! I'm sick of peace! I want glory in battle!
Kirk: So... why organise multiple recovery missions, instead of just destroying it?
Tchar: I'm also stupid!
6
Tchar voice over: And to nullify my natural advantage in combat, I neutralised gravity!
Kirk: Lucky we train regularly in zero-gee combat.
Spock: Yes, despite never having mentioned it in 98 previous episodes.
