The costume design on Star Trek was really something.

There's a lot in this episode that had to be cut down to fit it into 12 panels. The deaths of the security redshirts Matthews (not seen) and Rayburn (seen in panel 3), the death of Dr HymieBrown (who was also an android, by the way), the death of Ruk the android, and the android version of Kirk. And the way Kirk escapes from Ruk, by arguing logic with him and forcing Ruk to conclude that his programming is all wrong.

Spock: I surmise that the Captain has been duplicated. I wonder how best to approach this situation. It is not as though I must deal with a similar circumstance every fortnight.
