Eve looks down at her phone, and sees that Walter is about to go into the spare bedroom. She moves quickly, grabbing both phones and crawling under the bed just as Walter opens the bedroom door and looks into the room. He sees that the window is slightly ajar.

Eve plugs her headphones in again. She types rapidly on her phone.

SFX tap tap tap

Walter goes into the guest bedroom and stands at the window. He closes it.

Eve conceals (anti jinx) her phone and head in her arms. We can see Walter's feet close by.

Walter (MFL) I can't see anything. Carol (MFL) Walter! They're saying we have to go downstairs now.

Eve watches on her phone as Walter walks (ahead of Carol) down the stairs.
