I know that time travel is a bit outside the normal remit of this strip, but I've been reading a lot of Mary Elizabeth Braddon recently, and quite frankly, I just couldn't not have the characters end up in the Victorian era. I think you'll agree that it fits well with the themes of industrialisation and social class difficulties that have run throughout most of the strip so far. Even if it is perhaps a little too "wacky" compared to most of the things that happen. (Except for Blackdrip, for whom this makes perfect sense of course.)
