Delkin: You seem to ignore all my ideas. Do you even need me at this meeting?
Ambrose: We need you, but you can leave.
Delkin: That doesn't tell me anything.
Ambrose: We need your output, but not your input.
The author writes:
At the risk of sounding like a Comments from a Postcard entry, I have to say that this discussion happened to me today, nearly verbatim. Of course, it was all light-hearted, but I discovered that I took the unfortunate role of Ambrose in this comic.
It was quickly followed by a philosophical discussion on the general applicability of the last line.
As for the artwork in this one, I attempted to include character detail by drawing each panel on its own 8 inch x 8 inch page. Unfortunately, my inking tools were limited to my daughter's highly abused markers.
