Strip by: Camwoodstock & Tori

{Garfield has a bottle of ketchup aimed at his face}
Garfield: In honor of the 16250th SRoMG strip.
{Garfield opens the ketchup; it squirts onto his face}
SFX: SPLOOCH!
Garfield: It better be the 16250th strip or I'll be mad!

The author writes:

After I saw strip 2079, I got reminded of this idea.

Self-Deprecation is a trope I think we could use more here. Aside from the obvious route of mocking poorly done edits, that is, because I would rather not see somebody get mocked like that.

So, enter SRoMG in 2053, where all the simple mashups have been depleted, any meme is ran to the ground in mere days, and the best you get are mashups that really require you to think, making it a Moon Logic Puzzle just to understand it. At this point, the strip begins to rip off previous strips, in an attempt to stay alive, and keep up its daily rate.

It goes as well as you expect, as you can see here.
