Strip by: Tynach

I want to see something unexpected in the comics. Just one strip could make up for it all.
{Garfield smiling with wide eyes, staring at the camera.}
{The camera zooms in closer to Garfield.}
Garfield: {zoomed in on even closer} The world is constantly changing.
Garfield: {still grinning and camera split diagonally through his face, with half of it showing his wide eyes, the other half showing his eyes half closed} They stopped making Frozen Pudding Pops.
Jim Davis, throw off your commercial shackles. Challenge us. Go out in a blaze of dadaist glory. There is still time.

The author writes:

I was thinking of this xkcd comic, when I wondered what else Garfield might consider to be as bad as, or equivalent to, the end of the world. Of course, if they stopped producing Frozen Pudding Pops, who knows what madness would be unlocked from his newly tortured mind.

The thought bubble originally only had space for the word "Run", so I had to draw an additional thought bubble on top of it. At the same time, I initially had problems with the words fitting within the second half of the split frame. It took me several tries to get an arrangement I liked. Since I'm the exact opposite of artistic, I'm quite happy with the way things turned out.
